BASF Consolidates Ag Communications With Single Agency

Brighton USA named agency of record for U.S. crop protection group

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (August 28, 2001) — BASF announced today it has consolidated all U.S. crop protection communications with Brighton USA, a full-service agency based in St. Louis. The consolidation is effective immediately.

            Under the arrangement, Brighton will handle communications for all BASF crop-protection products for corn, soybeans, cotton, rice, peanuts, wheat, fruit, vegetables and other crops. In addition, Brighton will handle communications for the HARVEST PARTNERSÒ and Performance GuardSM programs.

            Miller Meester Advertising, Minneapolis, previously was responsible for the corn, soybean and fruit and vegetable markets. Miller Meester will continue to work on an      e-technology infrastructure initiative with BASF.
