Jean Pougnier Named Chief Operating Officer Of Griffin L.L.C.

 
Valdosta, GA - Jean Pougnier has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Griffin L.L.C. Pougnier had previously been the company's Vice President of Strategic Planning and Marketing.

"Jean came to Griffin after a very successful career with DuPont in both the U.S. and in Europe where he managed DuPont's crop protection business in France and Spain," says Rusty Griffin, Chief Executive Officer of Griffin L.L.C. "Jean's background and experience make him exceptionally qualified to lead Griffin's operational direction as we go about creating an even stronger company, and as we continue to solidify relationships with our key customers.

"In the past few months, our company has made several improvements in our cost structure and to our product portfolio," says Griffin. Pougnier holds a BS degree in economics from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. His wife, Annabel is a native of South Carolina.
