To MT600B Series

Feb, 2005

With new engines, new transmissions, more comfort features and more horsepower, the Challenger MT600B series is practically a brand-new line of tractors. Beneath the hood and inside the cab are numerous features not found in the previous MT600 series.

The MT600B series includes four power front assist models with 180 to 240 PTO hp. Challenger Tier II, six-cylinder “Endurance” diesel engines are new to the lineup. The engine technology has electronic management, four valves per cylinder, 40 percent torque backup and two pre-selectable engine-speed memory settings.

Other new features include a Power Performance III monitor, greater operator comfort and a new line of convenience options. Cab comforts include more headroom, better forward visibility and a 71 Dba maximum interior sound level..

“Today’s professional and commercial producers need a tractor that will help them make decisions, gather field and crop information and perform numerous tasks with a single command,” says Barry O’Shea, Challenger sales engineer. “The MT600B series will do all that and more..”

Challenger tractors are manufactured by AGCO Corporation, with more than 8,450 independent distributors and dealers around the world.
