The Issue
Most Texas producers would like to forget about the 2011 season because of a recordbreaking drought that devastated cotton production in most parts of the state. High Plains producer Eddie Smith, however, says he’s optimistic that 2012 will be better. Early rains in West Texas this year could be an omen of better things to come.
