The Issue
Louisiana cotton producer Gene Ogden has spent his entire life in the cotton industry. The 70-year-old farmer is retiring after harvesting his final crop and reflects on all of the major events he has witnessed in a long career. Whether it was variety selection, weeds or insect pests, he approached each situation with a workable strategy.
