Cotton Trust Protocol schedules several live signup webinars

U.S. Cotton trust protocol signupThe Cotton Trust Protocol will host a series of live webinars, from Sept. 14 through Dec. 14, that will walk interested growers through the process of signing up.

Attendees will learn how the Trust Protocol helps U.S. cotton growers meet their customers’ demands by documenting and verifying the sustainability practices already incorporated into U.S. cotton farms. The webinar will also detail how the program enables growers to prove their sustainablility stewardship and drive commitment to continuous improvement.

Launched in 2020, the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol is a voluntary program for U.S. cotton producers that quantifies and verifies sustainability goals. Data collected also drives continuous improvement in six key sustainability metrics: land use, soil carbon, water management, soil loss, greenhouse gas emissions and energy efficiency.

Choosing Trust Protocol cotton will provide brands and retailers the critical assurances they need that the cotton fiber is more sustainably grown with lower environmental and social risk.
