Save the Date: Louisiana Agricultural Technology & Management Conference Details Announced

The Louisiana Agricultural Technology & Management Conference sponsored by the Louisiana Agricultural Consultants Association will be held Wednesday 12:00 noon through noon Friday, February 7-9, 2024, at Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, Louisiana.

In addition to the general sessions where presentations such as Turf 101: Landscaping Issues and Solutions, Marketing Commodities: Booking, Basis, Calls, Puts, Etc., and New Bait for Feral Hog Capture will give great take-home advice, there will be a general session dealing with multi-crop agronomics and a new one focusing on soybeans.

Specific crop breakout sessions will be held on cotton, rice, sugarcane, and, new this year, corn.

More than 30 of LACA’s sustaining members will be exhibiting, and the majority of these will be participating in emerging technology presentations scattered throughout the conference, as well as product updates during crop specific breakout sessions.

Technical presentations during meals (breakfasts and luncheons) will be given by our sponsoring sustaining members. Paragon restaurants, from casual to fine dining will be open for dinner during our stay.

The conference provides recertification of consultant and commercial applicator licenses. CCA CEUs are also available.

The preliminary program has been emailed to LACA members and past attendees and can be accessed on the LACA website at www.laca1.org. Contact Denise Wright, Executive Director by email, denise@laca1.org or phone 337-945-3694 (m) for more information.
